one of my most favorite shot taken with my new dslr [thanks to my bro who gave it to me as a Christmas present last December ('08)]. taken last tuesday or wednesday night from the window overlooking the road below us facing the numerous other block of hdb buildings that makes my living here a little more monotonous than imagined.

the window is right where the washing-machine area is, by the kitchen door and the two sliding glass doors we have that separate the wash area from the dining room where the kitchen table is.

nice eh? i placed the camera on the tripod and set the shutter speed to like 15secs and hence i got the glow of the lights and even the faint outline of the clouds in the background. i've since learnt a new way of configuring my settings that'll give me more of the cloud's outlines without letting in too much light. i shall try it soon (:

while dealing with the topic of pictures, you might be curious about the '360shot' as stated on the side of my blog. the '360shot' is the name i have given to a project i have in mind that i want to do by this week or the following week. its basically this. behind my house is a hill that joins this side of the apartments to the other side of the apartments where my awesome friend cheryLee lives. its about 8-9 stories high. bout an 8min jog up the hill from my side and 4min descend on the other side. what i had wanted to do was sometime at night, to go up to the top of the hill and take numurous pictures of the skyline. includes, the lights, the buildings, causewaypoint, mrt station, stadium lights, anything and everything. and take all the pictures in a circle [hence 360], and then join the pictures. idk if i plan on doing it as 180-180 picture, or 90-90-90-90 picture, but thats basically what i have in mind. not too sure how the picture will turn out but i think it'll be awesome =]

also, i plan on waiting for the mrt to pass by [har har] and take a slow SS shot of it and get a really long line of the light and the mrt passing by in my shot. i think it'd be rad.

wait for the picture. it'll come soon.
